Larson Electronics Ships US Made Concealable, Backup Non-Metallic Universal Handcuff Key
Larson Electronics (www.magnalight.com) announced that is now shipping a concealable, backup handcuff key made with non-metallic, space-age materials. Designed to be concealed behind a shirt of pant button or beneath a wrist watch or mace can, the thermoplastic universal handcuff key opens all handcuff models.
Originally designed for US Special Forces and federal law enforcement, the unique backup handcuff key is easily concealed in several places on most any clothing, including standard issue uniforms. Military or law enforcement personnel finding themselves in hostage situations can easily remove and use this cuff key with a single index finger and thumb. The retaining ring encircling the key is flexible enough to "hang" the key on buttons and other hiding places. However, when needed, light force can snap the ring off, freeing the key for use.
The universal "plastic" handcuff key cannot be detected by metal detectors and is often attached to neck ties, clothing tags and other inconspicuous places. Unlike other concealable handcuff keys which were made to be hidden in tactical gear, utility belts, etc. this key is made to be concealed on everyday clothing and uniforms. In this way, government personnel can always have these on their person even when relieved of their normal utility gear.
