New IP sets offer simple installation, smooth integration of teleworkers and easy access to advanced TalkSwitch features
OTTAWA, ON, Oct. 23 / / - TalkSwitch(R), a leader in the design and manufacture of innovative telephone systems for small and multi-location businesses, today unveiled its line of new IP telephone handsets. A development that augments the existing line of analog TalkSwitch handsets, and gives customers an unprecedented level of choice in the way they communicate.
Available in three different models, TalkSwitch IP phones offer advanced features like line appearance and are the perfect solution for teleworkers or employees that split time between office locations. They work just like extensions in the office and allow for complete integration of those employees. Off-site workers can even join ring groups and have complete access to queues. They are also ideal for workers in the office that want to be able to view and engage callers in the queue and park lists at the touch of a button.
The phones automatically configure themselves when connected to the same LAN as a TalkSwitch, ensuring easy integration and installation, and because they plug directly into the data network, there is no need to run additional wires to the workstation, making installation in an office environment even more appealing.
