Tripp Lite Introduces New Safety Series Surge Suppressors

Tripp Lite's New Safety Series Surge Suppressors Deliver Reliable, Safe Protection for Rough Working Environments

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, IL (October 18, 2007)-Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity equipment, is pleased to introduce a new line of Safety Series Surge Suppressors designed to protect connected equipment from damaging surges, spikes and line noise in harsh working environments. Tripp Lite Safety Series Surge Suppressors are available in five models: the TLM825SA, TLM812SA, TLM615SA, TLM609SA and TLM626SA.

"Reliable, safe surge protection is vital to facilities that use power tools, air compressors, heavy machinery and manufacturing equipment," said Karenann Brow, Tripp Lite Senior Product Manager. "Tripp Lite's new line of Safety Series Surge Suppressors is designed specifically for these applications. They provide dependable surge protection and come in a safety yellow color that meets OSHA guidelines. This yellow color alerts users and others that power cords and tools are in use. They are ideal for anyone working in industrial, automotive, factory or other harsh environments."

Tripp Lite Safety Series models provide reliable surge and line noise protection with up to 3600 joules of surge absorption. Up to 8 outlets protect a wide range of power tools, pumps, machinery, air compressors, lighting and more. Tripp Lite Safety Series models include convenient transformer outlets that accommodate multiple transformers without blocking other outlets. Long grounded power cords up to 25 ft. in length reach the most distant outlets and include an integrated cord clip. A lighted on/off switch provides power control over connected equipment. A circuit breaker integrated into the switch protects against dangerous system overloads. Four included safety covers shield unused outlets from debris and accidental contact.

All Safety Series Surge Suppressors are housed in a rugged, metal case that stands up to the harshest environments. A built-in cord wrap with hang holes on select models provides convenient cord management. In addition, integrated keyhole slots on the bottom panel of each model allow convenient wall or desk mounting. All Tripp Lite Safety Series Surge Suppressors include Ultimate Lifetime Insurance protection up to $100,000.
