Offered as stand-alone device, modem-equipped ATA (Analog Terminal Adapter) box enables VoIP long-distance calls to be made over regular phone line using dialup connection to Internet without use of computer. Solution works anywhere Internet can be accessed through landline phone service and will also work on broadband connection. Used via plug-and-play operation, product does not affect regular phone service and works on any SIP-based VoIP gateway.
