Humidity / Temperature / Dewpoint Transmitter W/RS485 All in One Sleek Package

Thermalogic Corporation, a leading electronic process control and sensor manufacturer specializing in OEM applications, introduces its latest member to the HumiSense Transmitter Line, the TA 2629 Digital Humidity, Dew point, and Temperature Sensor/Transmitter with RS485. The HumiSense is designed to serve the industrial sensing market, as well as a wide variety of general purpose relative humidity and temperature monitoring applications.

Incorporating RS485 serial communications protocol into the TA 2629 enables the configuration of inexpensive multi-zone networks with up to 31 HumiSense units on a single bus. Since it uses a differential balanced line, it can span relatively large distances (up to 4000 feet or just over 1200 metres) and resists electromagnetic interference such as from motors and welding equipment.

Both the TA 2629 and the TA 2619 (RS232) are available in a 6" long x 7/8" diameter PVC tube housing. Custom mounting schemes are available upon request to include front mount, rear mount and reverse configuration. Custom cables, cable lengths and cable terminations are also available in a variety of configurations. A ¾" NPT Male Adapter is included with all standard transmitters (not permanently attached).

SPECIFICATIONS
HUMIDITY TRANSMITTER RANGE: 0 to 100 %RH (±2% RH from 10/90% RH)
TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER RANGE: -40 to 120°C (-40 to 248°F) (±1°C from -10/70°C)
DEWPOINT TRANSMITTER RANGE: -40 to 120°C (-40 to 248°F)
POWER INPUT: 9 to 24 VDC
COMPUTER COMMUNICATIONS: RS485, 2-wire or RS232, 3-wire (9600 Baud, 8/N/1)

ABOUT THERMALOGIC
Thermalogic began in 1971 as a supplier of rugged, encapsulated analog temperature control modules, which are still an ideal solution for numerous control situations. We expanded our product lines to include humidity controls and sensors in the early 1990's. Our line of control/sensor designs and products has steadily expanded over the decades, providing cost effective solutions ranging from large multiple zone digital to tiny analog controls and many sensor capabilities tailored to exact job requirements.
