Press Brake offers 198 tons of force.


October 4, 2007 - Along with bed length of 162 in. and 144 in. between columns, TruBend 3180 features crowning system that uses hydraulic cylinders combined with passive crowning technique as well as 5-axis backgauge with ±3 in. on X2 axis. Delem T3000 control has color monitor with 2D graphic programming and optional 3D visualization. Operation is facilitated by radius programming and machine diagnostic functions. It can search by product or drawing number and has 2 USB interfaces.

New TruBend Series 3000 Press Brake, TruBend 3180, to be Introduced at FABTECH 2007


FARMINGTON, Conn., August 30, 2007 --TRUMPF will introduce the newest member of the TruBend 3000 Series press brakes, the TruBend 3180, at FABTECH 2007 in Chicago, Illinois. The TruBend 3180 features a new crowning system that uses hydraulic cylinders combined with a passive crowning technique as well as a new 5-axis backguage with ± 3 inches on the X2 axis.

"The TRUMPF TruBend Series 3000 press brakes have successfully helped a variety of manufacturers to be more profitable and competitive," says Shane Simpson, press brake product manager for TRUMPF Inc. "The new TruBend 3180 is designed to provide manufacturers with more capability, flexibility and productivity at an economical value".

Another highlight of the TruBend 3180 is its new Delem T3000 control. It has a large color monitor with standard 2D graphic programming and optional 3D visualization. Operation is facilitated by the radius programming and machine diagnostic functions as well as the online "HELP" guide. It can search by product or drawing number, has two USB interfaces, and is available in 13 languages.

The largest of the TruBend 3000 Series press brake family, the TruBend 3180 has a bed length of 162 inches and boasts 144 inches between the columns providing fabricators with a spacious work area. Combined with 198 tons of press force, the TruBend 3180 is a flexible and productive precision bending machine.
