Horizontal Shrink Wrapper handles 140 packages/min.

October 2, 2007 - Suited for full film over-wrapped packages for retail display, side seal CAPRA(TM) 8000SS has 24 in. wide seal bar with up to 10 in. high seal bar opening, and can be adapted to run vertical end seals for tall packages. Machine can run single-wound polyethylene, polyolefin, or PVC shrink films and requires no tools for changeovers. Allen Bradley® touch screen controls, attached to swing arm, can be reached from either side of machine.

ARPAC Introduces CAPRA(TM) 8000SS High Speed Shrink Wrapper for Greater Packaging Productivity

Schiller Park, IL - ARPAC's new CAPRA 8000SS side seal horizontal shrink wrapper ensures maximum performance at speeds up to 140 packages per minute or 140 linear feet per minute.

Ideal for full film over-wrapped packages for retail display, the CAPRA 8000SS shrink wraps small and large product sizes, from pharmaceuticals to construction materials. This flexible shrink wrapper has a 24" wide seal bar with up to 10" high seal bar opening, and can be easily adapted to run vertical end seals for tall packages.
Changeovers are fast and few with Arpac's film forming and delivery system. Here's how...
o A proven "no contact" side seal that runs polyethylene, polyolefin and PVC films without changeover, and no build-up of film on the seal mechanism.
o Single-wound polyethylene, polyolefin or PVC shrink films can be run on the machine. Single- wound film is less costly than center-folded film and runs twice as long with fewer film changeovers.
o An operator-friendly ergonomic design conveniently locates all operator controls and changeover functions on the same side of the machine.
o No tools are required for changeovers. Fast and easy film threading gets you back up and running in minutes.
o Simple to clean and maintain!

The CAPRA 8000SS offers numerous features, including:
o Simplified operation with user-friendly Allen Bradley® touch screen controls. The machine controls are on a swing-arm that can be easily reached from either side of machine. Both right and left hand machines are available.
o Speed and repeatability is assured with Allen Bradley servo controlled sealing mechanism.
o A variety of standard "Quick Connect" infeed conveyors are available to handle a wide range of products and are easily interchangeable.
o A unique film folding mechanism uses narrower film for maximum return on investment
