October 2, 2007 - Torque-controlled tools in ASG TL, CL, SS, and Alpha Series, used in combination with ASG PS-55 Power Supply, are available with ASG STC-1 Screw Counter. This option offers additional capability beyond basic torque control by providing counting function and acting as visual indicator for operator.

New Screw Counter for Torque Controlled Electric Screwdrivers Announced

CLEVELAND, OH-September 6, 2007- A new screw counter has been announced by ASG, a division of Jergens, Inc. The new ASG STC-1 Screw Counter is intended for use with ASG TL, CL, SS and Alpha Series tools in combination with the ASG PS-55 Power Supply. The product provides an additional capability beyond basic torque control. It is simple, reliable and affordable, providing a basic counting function and acting as a visual indicator for the operator.

ASG provides a full line of equipment and systems for precision assembly work, including electric torque-controlled drivers, torque testing equipment and assembly production aides.
