Con Forms High Pressure Shut Off Valve Hydraulically Stops the Flow
(Port Washington, WI....7/20/07) Responding to concrete pumpers recent concerns for
control over the flow of concrete when pumping in high pressure applications, such as high rise buildings, Construction Forms has produced a high pressure Shut-Off Valve.
The new 5-inch valve is able to operate in applications of up to 1,500 psi working pressure, which is more than double existing horizontal shut off valves. The pressure equates to about 660 feet of vertical load. The valve is hydraulically controlled, with controls mounted on the valve frame.
The new high pressure valve come standard with Con Forms Hevi-Duty(TM) weld ends, however, any type of weld ends can be made. It features two hydraulic cylinders, double seals with operational resistant hardened metal-on-metal and all-steel construction. Weighing 274 lbs., the valve has a small footprint (23" x 8") and low profile (35"). Con Forms manufactures a full line of shut off and diversion valves for concrete pumping.
Since 1969, Con Forms has been a global leader in the design, manufacture, distribution
