MaintSmart 3.4 Enterprise CMMS Software Released
MaintSmart CMMS Software version 3.4 (maintenance management software) has been released.
MaintSmart 3.4 is translatable into any language including all European languages, Chinese, Arabic, etc. MaintSmart is capable of translation into multiple languages in the same database.
MaintSmart 3.4 CMMS contains a powerful print job scheduler. Print jobs use any report in the program and these reports may be filtered and saved with a floating date range. All you need to do is put paper in your printer; MaintSmart handles the rest automatically. Automatically created work orders contain parts lists, unlimited details and unlimited file attachments of any type. MaintSmart also uses meters to generate work orders. Meter values may be entered manually into MaintSmart or read from any OPC data source automatically. MaintSmart generates work orders based upon equipment demand automatically with the equipment telling MaintSmart when it needs service.
Example: Print all of a certain mechanic's PMs that are coming due within the next week to the shop printer every Monday at 7:00 AM.
MaintSmart provides a simple to use yet powerful interface for work orders, purchasing, inventory management, preventive maintenance (PM), failure data collection and much more. MaintSmart analyzes work orders, PMs, equipment failure, skills, inventory, parts usage and purchasing then reports in three different ways: Excel, Crystal Reports or data grid printing. Data grids may be saved in Excel, HTML (web Page) or as simple text.
MaintSmart is noted for being the only CMMS available that uses reliability analysis to guide the user towards optimized preventive maintenance task lists. Adjusting PM task lists based upon MTBF (average time between failures) for particular failure causes is a two mouse-click process that takes seconds and provides results based upon real data. Additionally MaintSmart uses military standard reliability analysis methods (AMSAA) to help the user determine if their maintenance efforts are improving reliability and guide the user towards continuous improvement.
