New RTIP Injection Molding Machines From REP/Tung Yu

Superior engineering and economy meet

REP Corporation introduces the RTIP line of injection presses for rubber molding, built in cooperation with its international partner, Tung Yu Hydraulic Machinery. RTIP (REP TungYu Injection Press acronym) presses represent the fusion of REP engineering and the manufacturing efficiencies of Tung Yu, a world leader in rubber processing equipment.

The highlight of the RTIP presses is the combination of REP injection technology, based on its patented V-head design that separates the plasticizing and injection functions, with the frame and controls of a reliable yet economical Tung Yu machine. The result is a high-efficiency production press that offers economy to the traditional molder markets, while positioning REP to enter new markets in emerging industrial countries.

This new line of presses is available in five injection tonnages from 100-500 and shot capacities from 1000-6400 cc (~34-216 oz.). Platen sizes range from 350mm x 400mm (~13.78" x 15.75") to 800mm x 800mm (~31.50" x 31.50"). A small footprint also highlights these vertical injection machines, with the largest press requiring only 2100mm x 2600mm (~82.68" x 102.36") of floor space. The compact control cabinet is located in close proximity to the work area, for easy access and viewability.

Available options on these presses include hydraulic ejectors, fixed or movable traverse, plate handling outside the press, pre-arrangement for vacuum, pre-arrangement for cold runner, plus the RTIP can be supplied only as a compression machine.

REP will arrange demonstrations of this new press line for any interested party.
