E-T-A Announces Compact Circuit Breaker Specifically Designed for Single-Phase Applications

Mt. Prospect, IL - September 1, 2007 - E-T-A Circuit Breakers is pleased to announce the availability of its new 1120 thermal overcurrent circuit breaker with an integrated rocker actuated ON/OFF switch. The 1120 has been specifically designed for single-phase applications and offers snap-in front panel mounting - making it the ideal solution for the protection of office equipment, power tools, power strips and other consumer and commercial appliances.

Specifications:
The 1120 is available with current ratings from 2... 16 A (20A AC 120V only) in single and double pole configurations - either thermally protected or as a switch only. The double pole version with one pole protected provides an extra margin of safety. Its positively trip-free mechanism ensures reliable overcurrent protection and safe physical isolation of the load circuit. The status of the switching contacts is shown by the position of the rocker actuator. Depending on the application requirements of the customer, the rocker can be integrated with illumination and IP65 water-splash protection. In high volume cases, customer-specific designs can be included on the front bezel and the rocker.

Availability
E-T-A's 1120 thermal overcurrent circuit breaker is available now with a minimum order of 10,000 pieces per part number and a lead time of 6 - 8 weeks from the date of the order. For more information on the 1120 or E-T-A complete thermal circuit protection line please contact us at 800-462-9979 or visit www.e-t-a.com.
