STI Introduces a Protective Weather Cover with Pneumatic Push Button
This multipurpose StopperŪ Station push button with Mini Weather StopperŪ cover from STI covers a wide range of applications both indoors and outdoors.
The tough polycarbonate protective cover, with weather gaskets, is used to protect the button from damage or harsh environments. It is ideal to use on oceangoing ships, oil rigs, beachfront condos, car washes or any area subjected to saltwater conditions. Available for both flush and surface mount installations.
The pneumatic mushroom button opens or closes a circuit and has a timed delay before reset. It does not require electricity to operate. The timer range is 2 - 60 seconds and has a 10 amp (resistive) 240 VAC rating. Station housing is molded of super tough polycarbonate and includes a stainless steel backplate. The Stopper Station incorporates a unique, patented design that helps dramatically to stop accidental activation.
Available in red, yellow, white, blue or green, the button and cover have a choice of wording and language. The polycarbonate is backed by a lifetime guarantee against breakage in normal use and one year on electronics. Button used in conjunction with the Mini Weather Stopper is UL/cUL Listed, NEMA 3R (when mounted to smooth surface or if backplate is used) and ADA Compliant.
