Portable Drum Scale is suited for on-site scrap weighing.

August 14, 2007 - Measuring 30 x 40 x 4.5 in. and weighing 105 lb, Alliance/Cardinal Portable Drum and Barrel Scale is designed for weighing up to 500 or 1,000 lb drums of scrap metal on-site. Included battery-powered digital weight indicator features keypad-selectable conversion units, RS-232 computer compatibility, and 5-digit, 1 in. high LCD that can be mounted anywhere. Live rails are provided for weighing skids, crates, and other types of containers.

Portable Drum Scale Ideal for Weighing Scrap On-Site

A fully portable drum and barrel scale that has a digital weight indicator with keypad selectable conversion units and RS-232 computer compatibility has been introduced by Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts.

The Alliance/Cardinal Portable Drum and Barrel Scale stores vertically, only taking up 4.5" of space, and has built-in wheels and handles for weighing drums of scrap metal on-site where they're being filled and stored. Easily transported on a truck, it features a battery-powered digital weight indicator with a 5-digit, 1" high LCD display that can be mounted anywhere.

Equipped with live rails for weighing skids, crates, and other types of containers as well, the Alliance/Cardinal Portable Drum and Barrel Scale is truly versatile and measures only 30"L x 40"W x 4.5"H and weighs 105 lbs. Made of heavy-duty steel with a baked-on powder finish, it is available in 500- and 1,000 lbs. capacity models. A stainless steel version is optional.

The Alliance/Cardinal Portable Drum and Barrel Scale sells for $1,195.00 (list). Literature is available upon request.
