Pluggable Couplings exhibit zero backlash.

August 14, 2007 - Designed to meet demands of dynamic drives on CNC machines that require high performance from their drive components, Series ADS and ASS couplings can be applied wherever 2 rotating opposite shafts must be coupled with locking force and without backlash. Able to be used at temperatures from -30 to +120ºC, these wear- and maintenance-free products are axially pluggable and torsionally stiff. Shock- and oscillation-damping design compensates for alignment errors.

Pluggable Couplings from Rino

Highly dynamic drives on CNC machines demand high performance from their drive components. Rino Industries Ltd of Chesterfield offer a range of couplings designed to perform outstandingly in these applications.

Series ADS and ASS couplings can be applied wherever two rotating opposite shafts must be coupled with locking force and without backlash. They are axially pluggable and yet backlash free and torsionally stiff. Alignment errors are compensated for and short assembly saves time and therefore expense. ADS and ASS couplings are both wear and maintenance free, have low moment of inertia and are shock and oscillation damping. They can be used at temperatures of -30ºC to +120ºC.
