Beaumont Introduces Advanced Mold Balance Analysis Software Version 2.0
ERIE, PA (July 26, 2007) - Beaumont Technologies, Inc. (BTI) now offers Version 2.0 of their 5 Step Process(TM) advanced mold balance analysis software designed to answer an injection molder's greatest challenge...sorting through all the "noise" and identifying the root cause of any filling variation. By understanding the nature of polymer flow, the 5 Step Process separates the mold into flow groups to help separate and quantify the various sources of mold imbalances.
Updates to the new Version 2.0 include:
oAdvanced graphical template driven interface
oNew layout selections for 2-cavity, 4-cavity, 32-cavity, and 64-cavity molds
oEnhanced " Averager" feature to save individual cavity data from getting lost
oUpdated program graphics
o"Print Notes" option
oIntegrated "Search" functionality into the file storage area
oAdded "Machine Number" field for mold sampling history
According to David Hoffman, BTI's Global Director, Technical Sales & Marketing, "The new Version 2.0 of the 5 Step Process(TM) software greatly enhances the friendliness of the user interface and the overall program. The software has been sold to injection molding companies worldwide, and therefore it is important that it contain a quick visual reference when choosing a runner layout that matches the tool being sampled. We have also added several bonus features that provide the ability to track the machine used for the sampling, improvements to the data averaging capabilities, and an easier search function for finding files in the database. Initial field testing shows that both our existing and new customers will be very pleased with the additions to Version 2.0, and we look forward to helping them qualify their molds faster and easier."
The software is available for purchase on a single license for one installation or a site license with unlimited installations per customer location. Companies can also "try before you buy" with BTI offering of a 30 day free trial version, which can be requested through the company's website.
