Touchscreens support various communication protocols.

August 2, 2007 - TS8000 programmable touchscreens are compatible with WAGO I/O systems to provide remote I/O solution via Ethernet and CANopen networks. In addition to RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and Parker SSD Link, fieldbus option cards are available for IEEE 1394 FireWire, CANopen, DeviceNet, and PROFIBUS DP; and units can communicate with wide variety of drives. Devices also include protective clear film overlays with pre-applied low-tack adhesive to augment NEMA 4X/IP66 panel rating.

Parker SSD Announces Upgrades to TS8000 Touchscreen

Charlotte, NC, July 5, 2007 - Parker Hannifin SSD Drives Division has introduced several new features and enhancements for the TS8000 line of programmable touchscreens. All new shipments will include the latest software version 3, and users of previous versions may upgrade their existing DSI8000 software by free download.

Additional communication protocols now supported

In addition to RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and Parker SSD Link, fieldbus option cards are now available for IEEE 1394 FireWire, CANopen, DeviceNet, and PROFIBUS DP, and the TS8000 is compatible with WAGO I/O systems to provide a remote I/O solution via Ethernet and CANopen networks.

Harsh environments are no problem

To augment the standard NEMA 4X/IP66 panel rating, protective clear film overlays are now offered for additional durability. Available in packs of 10, the overlay has pre-applied low-tack adhesive for easy installation.

Custom panel labels for OEM customers

To better integrate the TS8000 with the design of your machine or control panel, custom three-color overlays can be provided with your own artwork.
