Exotic Materials and Three Processes Expand on Deep Drawn Capabilities

Gasser & Sons has long been dedicated to the manufacture of deep drawn precision stampings and assemblies for the medical industry.

Gasser has now expanded upon its materials offering to include a wide range of exotic metals such as include Kovar, monel and titanium as well as standard materials; nickel and nickel alloys, brass, bronze copper, stainless steel, steel and lead.

Gasser's updated in-house stamping capabilities utilize presses from 10 to 400 tons which can produce medical X-ray housings, lead shielding, electronic casings & enclosures and X-ray tube components. Housings are now constructed with three development processes; casting, extrusion and fabrication. Regardless of any deep drawing or stamping design revision, in prototypes or production, modified or new tooling would be required. Castings are offered as a solution for large heavy metal objects. Extruding allows for an exceptional part made form one parent material source. Fabricated assemblies can achieve a superior finish and a light weight product with no porosity problems. Overseeing all our precision deep drawn forming and machining are a team of in-house engineers. Regardless of the processes or the materials necessary Gasser is a total solution for all custom stamping.
