Rodless Actuators provide speeds to over 9 m/s.


July 26, 2007 - Featuring roller screw technology or high-speed belt drives, Extrak(TM) RM and LM Series are available with brushless servo, stepper, DC, or AC motor. Units come in metric frame sizes of 65, 80, and 110 mm with stroke lengths to 7.5 m. Standard actuator is anodized aluminum with optional protective metal strapping to keep contaminants out. Applications include automated assembly, material handling, pick and place, gantries, and stage positioning.

Chanhassen, MN - July 19, 2007 - The Extrak(TM) RM and LM Series rodless actuators offer Exlar's proven roller screw technology or high speed belt drives to provide you with electromechanical reliability, proven performance and product quality. With the roller screw driven versions, Exlar offers higher thrust loads and longer life than ball screw driven rodless actuators!

The RM and LM Series offer users the choice of motor brand and type - brushless servo, stepper, DC or AC motor. Input transmission options include direct coupling and parallel belt and pulley drive. The rodless actuator's modular body and platen designs offer the user multiple mounting methods from a variety of T slots and threaded holes.
The Extrak RM and LM Series actuators are available in 3 popular metric frame sizes (65 mm, 80 mm, and 110 mm) with stroke lengths to 7.5 meters and speeds to over 9 meters per second! The standard product is anodized aluminium with optional protective metal strapping to keep contaminants out.

As are all Exlar's linear actuator solutions, the RM and LM rodless actuators are designed for continuous duty and long life.
