Sartorius Midrics Provides a Simple and Flexible Solution for Industrial Weighing Requirements

July 12, 2007, EDGEWOOD, NY, USA - Sartorius Corporation, a global leader in precision weighing, introduces the Midrics series industrial scale. Midrics scales offer simple and economical solutions to industrial weighing requirements from incoming inspection and shipping to production, resource planning, packaging, and more.

The basic Midrics 1 version features field-proven simple operation for "weigh-only" requirements, while the versatile Midrics 2 version offers built-in application programs including counting, checkweighing, classification, weighing in percent and more. Separate modules and made-to-order versions are also available for custom needs. Ten capacity ranges are available from 3 kg to 3 tons with standard resolution of 15,000 d and Class III resolution for legal metrology of 1 x 3000 e, 2 x 3000 e.

Those Midrics versions with a painted finish are IP65 protection rated for industrial use, while those with a stainless steel (AISI 304) finish have IP67 | IP68 protection ratings for industrial use in wet environments. Each rugged and practical Midrics version is equipped with stainless steel indicators and multiple platform sizes with smooth edges and corners for increased ease-of-use. A large, high-contrast indicator display ensures that the readout can be easily seen even at a considerable distance or under poor lighting conditions.

Midrics industrial scales also feature large and logically arranged keys with one function each. Easy to understand symbols on the keys and positive click action make quick operation possible, even for inexperienced operators. An exceptionally resistant keypad overlay ensures that the scale withstands even aggressive cleaning agents and mechanical stress. Accessories include interface kits, printer, external battery pack, a panel mounting kit and more.
