Miyachi Unitek Releases 4000A Inverter

MONROVIA, CA - July 11, 2007 - The ISA-4000CR is the latest addition to Miyachi Unitek's range of large scale inverters for resistance welding. This unit is capable of producing 4000A primary with all of the features of the ISA family including 5 feedback modes, fast rise times, high output stability, NEMA style enclosure, built-in weld monitoring, communications package, and force control option. This weld control was specifically developed to address the growing demand for projection welding.

Increased efficiency is always a prime manufacturing process goal: increased throughput, reduced material usage, improved strength. High current resistance welding can provide extremely efficient, fast, high integrity joints of connectors, fasteners and subassembly pieces. Inverter resistance welding can replace slower joining technologies, such as brazing and arc welding, and offer increased process control over traditional AC and CD weld controls.

Founded in 1948, Miyachi Unitek designs and manufacturers a full range of resistance welding and reflow soldering power supplies, heads, monitors and accessories for both large scale and fine spot applications requiring precision metals joining, hermetic sealing systems, and lasers and laser systems for welding and marking. The company offers applications and process development support at no charge. Company Headquarters is located at 1820 S. Myrtle Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016. Contact Miyachi at (626) 303-5676 or by email at info@miyachiunitek.com. Miyachi may be found on the Internet at www.miyachiunitek.com.
