Wireless Monitoring Systems suit labs and hospitals.

July 25, 2007 - Available in 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz, Wireless Remote Monitoring Stations can monitor temperature, humidity, CO2, differential pressure, airflow, light level, door ajar condition, and motion. Up to 8 sensors can be connected to each station over plug-and-play SensorBus network. Incoming data is compared against user-assigned alarm limits and generates messages when out of range conditions are detected. Messages can be sent via email, telephone, text messaging, and pager.

Custom Wireless Monitoring System Now Available for Labs, Hospitals, & More

CIMScan-DA, a new wireless remote monitoring system from CIMTechniques boasts the lowest cost per point of any system available today. This system includes Intelligent Sensors, Remote Monitoring Stations, Alert Messaging, and easy-to-use software.

A variety of Intelligent Sensors are available to monitor temperature, humidity, CO2, differential pressure, airflow, light level, door ajar condition, motion, and much more. Up to eight sensors can be connected to each wireless Remote Monitoring Station over a common "plug-and-play" network called a SensorBus.

Both 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz Wireless Remote Monitoring Stations and Ethernet Gateways are available that continuously stream data from multiple remote stations to a central CIMScan-DA server over your facility's existing LAN. Each Remote Station contains built-in data buffering and alarm detection that can alert local personnel to abnormal conditions, even during LAN or communications interruptions.

Real-time measurement data from multiple remote monitoring stations is organized in a hierarchy in the CIMScan-DA by user-defined groups. Incoming data is compared against user-assigned alarm limits and messages generated when out of range conditions are detected. These messages can be sent to one or more recipients via email, telephone, sms text messaging, and pager. All measurement data is time-stamped and stored for later recall and reporting.

Remote users, with the correct user ID and password, can log onto the CIMLink server using a simple web-browser to view the current monitoring conditions in their area. Points that currently exceed alarm or warning limits are displayed so that they can be quickly identified. A simple click can bring up a window showing a recent history of one or more monitoring points in strip or trend chart format.

COMPANY INFORMATION
CIMTechniques, Inc. understands the importance of both proper storage and data monitoring for hospitals and laboratories. Data is continuously monitored and recorded in order to maintain compliance and safety. CIMTechniques not only provides high quality, user-configurable technology but also peace of mind that abnormalities are communicated effectively.

CIMScan software was first produced in 1995 by electrical engineer, Walker Petroff, and has been continuously improved ever since. The capabilities and application areas for the event-driven system are numerous as they are fully user-configurable and easily user-maintainable. Customized displays and data logs allow the user to optimize the value of the system.
