TINLEY PARK, IL (July 03, 2007) - PANDUIT introduces new REEL SMART(TM) Continuously Molded Ferrules and Crimping Tools that deliver speed and reliability for higher volume applications.
The continuously molded design provides quick consistent placement of ferrules in tools to ensure reliable terminations. The seamless barrel design contains loose wire strands for superior performance. Ferrules are available in #20 - #14 AWG in strips of 50 and reels of 3,000 to 5,000 to meet a full range of applications. Designed for use with a lightweight hand tool or precision applicator, this solution delivers efficiency, application flexibility, and lower installed cost.
The semiautomatic Crimping Tool CT-1000 features an innovative rapid load design utilizing strips of ferrules for medium volume applications. This multi-use 54 lbs. tool cuts, strips, and crimps wire.
The Ferrule Applicator CA10 is designed to work with the Electric Bench Press CP-871 or other commercially available bench presses and wire processing machines. The CA10 utilizes reels of ferrules featuring precision ferrule indexing for high volume applications. Quick change die sets provide fast product changeover and reduced setup time.
