Level Switch for Slurries
When the pollution remediation system requires a level switch in particulate heavy sewage or slurries, the L-5 with Nema 4 cover or the L-5SS with a stainless steel cover level switches by Harwil Corp fit the specification. With one or two stainless steel floats on a phosphor bronze shaft, the L-5 can detect the difference in specific gravity between oil and water. The 15 Amp, 120/240 VAC level switch signals a pump, an alarm, or solenoid valve. A "dry" circuit can be specified for use in a microprocessor. In hazardous areas, the L-5 can be supplemented with the Intrinsically Safe Solid State Hazardous Relay (Series 27) also available from Harwil Corp.
