Streamlight® Introduces Microstream LED Flashlight

The New, Ultra-Bright MicroStream(TM) LED Key-Chain Light Is a 'Must Have' for Consumers, Do-It-Yourselfers and Professionals Across a Range of Industries

EAGLEVILLE, PA - June 21, 2007 - Streamlight® Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance flashlights, today introduced the Streamlight MicroStream(TM) LED, one of the world's brightest and most durable key-chain lights.

Weighing just over 1 ounce, the new, ultra-compact key-chain light utilizes a new .5-watt high-flux LED, as well as Streamlight's proprietary Micro Optical System (MOS) technology, to deliver exceptionally bright light while also optimizing runtime. Built to the high standards for professionals, the MicroStream LED key-chain light is perfect for personal use.

"Whether using the MicroStream LED key-chain light to illuminate a front door or car door lock at night, on a family camping trip or for a variety of uses around the home, the MicroStream LED is the only key-chain light you'll ever need - for its unmatched brightness and durability," said Streamlight Chief Operating Officer Ray Sharrah. "It is equally valuable as a secondary light for professionals in a wide range of industries."

Measuring 3.5 inches in length, the MicroStream LED features a .5-Watt, 30,000-hour lifetime High Flux LED and uses a single "AAA" alkaline battery. The High Flux LED provides up to 20 lumens and offers a continuous regulated runtime of 1.5 hours. It employs a push-button tailcap switch for easy, single-handed operation.

The MicroStream LED is also designed to be durable. Shock proof and drop-test verified, it is constructed of machined aluminum and features an anodized finish, and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch resistant coating. The light also incorporates an internal polymer body liner and shockproof switch housing that allows for operation under the most extreme conditions and a multiple O-Ring design to ensure waterproof use. The MicroStream LED, which retails for $24.95, comes with Streamlight's "Limited-Lifetime" Warranty.

Based in Eagleville, PA, Streamlight is a leading manufacturer of high-performance lighting equipment for professional fire fighting, law enforcement, industrial, automotive, and outdoor applications.
