Next Generation of High Power RF Plastics Welding Machinery for Packaging, Medical, Belting, and Industrial Applications
New high power RF plastics welder for Packaging, Medical, Belting, and Industry
Bensenville, Illinois, June 2007: Northwest RF Corp has just released a new line of small footprint high power radio frequency plastics welding machines, named Weldpro 12 & Weldpro 25. These RF sealers are designed to be user-friendly, with a new touch screen LCD, multiple programmable setups, quick die changer standard; they allow for rapid changeover time. With modular construction and a variety of options from standalone base units to fully automated lines and everything in between, adapting to changing needs is a no-hassle experience. Typical applications include sealing clamshell/blister packages, tubing and perimeter tear-seals for medical bags, seam seals, joining rolls of material, industrial belt cleat and many other industrial applications.
Northwest RF Corp's Weldpro 12 and 25 have an infinitely adjustable power output from 2 to 12 kW and 4 to 25kW respectively. Both manual and automatic working modes can be adjusted via the touch screen which interfaces with a PLC and provides feedback, product count, and self-diagnostics. They also include an auto-tuning feature and multi-layered arc suppression.
RF (radio frequency) welding, is also known as dielectric sealing or HF (high frequency) welding, is the process of fusing materials together by applying radio frequency energy to the area to be joined. The resulting weld can be just as strong as the original materials. The Weldpro 12 and 25 machines are designed for welding thermoplastics such as PVC, EVA, PU, PETG, polyolefins, etc.
Northwest RF Corp., a manufacturer of specialized RF plastics welding machines, also known as RF Sealing equipment; by standardizing their product line and integrating many features which would normally be considered options by their competitors, they have greatly reduced the cost of such machines. Rigorously maintaining very low overhead costs and utilizing high quality components allows Northwest RF Corp keep a low price point.
