Weighing 6 lb, portable Model PDG-DSU20 features 800 x 600 SVGA resolution and 2,000 lumens, making it suited for classrooms, boardrooms, and other small gatherings for video playback or presentations. ANAHEIM, Calif., June 19 / -- SANYO, one of the world's largest manufacturers of front projectors introduces the PDG-DSU20 Projector during INFOCOMM this week in Anaheim, CA.
"The PDG-DSU20 is a value priced model aimed to fill the educational and mobile projection market where budgets are tight but performance is essential," says Mark Holt, the Vice President and General Manager for SANYO's Presentation Technologies Division.
The PDG-DSU20 is a straightforward projector with SVGA (800 X 600) resolution that is sufficiently bright (2000 lumens) for the applications it was designed for. The projector is ideal for usage in classrooms, boardrooms and other small gatherings for video playback or small presentations. The PDG-DSU20 is ultra-portable weighing a mere six pounds. It can be hand carried from one presentation to the next and easily connected to a PC using the D-sub 15 pin input or any video source such as a VCR, DVD Player or even cable/satellite set-top boxes via the composite RCA jack or S-Video connection. Also, two communication ports, D-sub 9pin (RS232) and USB are provided. A single (mono) speaker with 2 watts of power is built-in and a signal is fed to the projector from a mini-jack input.
