Raymond's 3-Wheel AC Lift Truck Delivers Power, Versatility
Raymond's 3-Wheel Ac Lift Truck Delivers Power, Versatility
GREENE, N.Y. - The Raymond Corporation's powerful new Model 4400 3-wheel, sit-down electric lift truck is ideal for numerous applications - from heavy-duty dock operations to higher-speed transport for supplying rack systems and moving picked orders. The attachment-ready Model 4400 handles cartons, paper rolls and slipsheets with ease, and has lift capacities from 3,000 to 4,000 lbs.
"With its low-profile design, the Model 4400 can move easily through doorways and into low shipping containers and trailers," says Jeff Leggett, director for counterbalanced truck products at The Raymond Corporation. "Also, counter-rotating motors on the drive wheels give the Model 4400 a tight turning radius for maneuvering in tight spaces with precise control."
Operator comfort on the Model 4400 starts with an easy-access, spacious operator compartment, and a semisuspension seat that can be adjusted for back tilt, operator weight and lumbar support. Also standard are the convenient tilt steering column and natural, intuitive controls. All of the hydraulic functions are color-coded, and fingertip hydraulic controls and bidirectional, floor-mounted pedals are available to ensure maximum productivity in high-shuttle operations. The unique open view mast allows operators to clearly see the load for more efficient travel, handling and stacking, and less product damage.
The Model 4400 uses Raymond's exclusive ACR System(TM) for both drive and lift to deliver faster, smoother operation and increased travel and lift speeds. AC technology also minimizes downtime and reduces cost of ownership because it has fewer wearable parts and requires less maintenance than DC systems. The ACR System also delivers more runtime per battery charge and experiences less reduction in truck performance as the battery discharges.
The truck's programmable travel speeds and acceleration, coupled with quick lift-lower speeds, provide shorter cycle times to improve productivity. Oil-cooled disc brakes on the Model 4400 allow up to twice the life of dry friction breaks.
Raymond's Model 4400 lift truck is available exclusively through authorized Raymond dealers. For more information about the Model 4400 or to locate a Raymond dealer, visit www.raymondcorp.com or call (800) 235-7200.
