Leak Detection Systems protect infrastructures of any size.

June 6, 2007 - Designed to monitor 6 zones, SeaHawk LDRA6 detects and reports presence of conductive fluids that come in contact with up to 1,000 ft of SC cable in each zone. Upon contact, alarm sounds and summary alarm relay and zone relay activate. Suited for smaller areas, single-zone SeaHawk LD300 continuously monitors up to 300 ft of SC cable. It includes visual alarm indicator and 2 output relays for leak and fault. Both have adjustable leak alarm thresholds, which virtually eliminate false alarms.

RLE Adds Two Leak Detection Systems to a Product Line that Protects Infrastructure of Every Size

Protecting mission-critical facilities from leaks is versatile and cost-effective with the SeaHawk LDRA6 and LD300

FORT COLLINS, CO | 31 May 2007 - RLE Technologies today announced its release of two new leak detection systems that join their SeaHawk line - the SeaHawk LDRA6 and SeaHawk LD300. The LDRA6 provides an advanced control head to monitor six individual zones. The LD300 is a single zone system. Both the LDRA6 and LD300 are available now for delivery mid-June of this year.

"Mission-critical equipment is mission-critical whether it's in a large enterprise or a small business," said Mike Orlich, President of RLE Technologies. "Downtime of mission-critical equipment due to water leaks can adversely affect the bottom line and reputation of any organization when it suffers a disruption in service and/or function. The consequence of downtime is not bias to size. For that reason, the goal of our SeaHawk line is to meet the needs of enterprises of all sizes with a full range of leak detection monitoring, control, and protection."

Designed to be used with RLE patented SeaHawk Water Leak Detection Cable (SC), the LDRA6 detects and reports the presence of conductive fluids that come in contact with up to 1,000 feet (305 meters) of SC cable in each zone. Upon such contact, an alarm sounds and the summary alarm relay and zone relay activate. Allowing for optimal user configurability, each of its six inputs can be configured for leak detection or dry contact annunciation, in any combination. The LDRA6 system also supports an optional Modbus over TCP/IP interface for easy integration into Building Management Systems (BMS).

The SeaHawk LD300 is ideal for smaller areas that require leak detection monitoring. This single zone system, with a visual alarm indicator and two output relays for leak and fault, continuously monitors up to 300 feet (100 meters) of SC cable. The LD300 is a cost-effective solution for small businesses that realize the importance of leak detection, and want to minimize downtime and attributable costs.

A notable advantage over many leak detection systems, both the LDRA6 and LD300 systems have adjustable leak alarm thresholds which virtually eliminate false alarms. With the addition of these systems to their SeaHawk line, RLE offers two more solutions to businesses looking to protect critical equipment with reliable, scalable leak detection.
