Oklahoma City, OK - MAGPOWR, a leader in the design and engineering of tension control products for the web handling industry, announced the release of the Smart Brake, a pneumatic brake that has been re-designed to improve efficiency and eliminate surprises on the unwind.
Smart Brake indicates common problems before it's too late, helping operators avoid disasters. Pad wear indicators call attention to brake pads only when they need to be changed, eliminating the common practice of changing all brake pads at regular intervals, regardless of wear.
