Engineering Plastic is metal-detectable and x-ray visible.


June 15, 2007 - Blue in color, Detectamet Metal Detectable Engineering Plastic Detectathene is self-lubricating; resistant to abrasion, wear, and impact; and repels dirt and water. Material can be used in environments from -260 to +80°C and serves to dampen vibration and noise. Chemical-, acid-, and corrosion-resistant sheet sizes include 3 x 1 mt, 2 x 1 mt, 1.25 x 1 mt. Thicknesses range from 8-160 mm. Application examples include wear strips, liners, and general machined parts.
