Sanitary PF-LC-S is designed for uniform feeding of various materials from free flowing to very fine cohesive powders. Made from stainless steel, corrosion resistant product is also suited for processing food products. U-trough feed chamber, with independently driven agitator, delivers material to feeding screw, eliminates material build-up, controls material aeration, and delivers constant flow of material. Dead load is mass-counterbalanced, so only live load is measured.

PEMBROKE, MA -- The Thayer Scale Sanitary PF-LC-S is a large capacity Loss-In-Weight Screw Feeder designed for accurate and uniform feeding of a wide range of materials, from free flowing to very fine cohesive powders. Made from high quality stainless steel, the Sanitary PF-LC-S is corrosive resistant and appropriate for the processing of food products, such as pet food, cereals, chips and snacks.
The Sanitary PF-LC-S was developed for applications that require fast, easy and thorough cleaning out of materials, to prevent spoiling and cross-contamination. The Feeder can be completely disassembled, without the use of tools, in less than one minute. The rugged stainless steel construction ensures years of reliable, trouble-free operation.
The patented "U-trough" feed chamber with an independently driven agitator provides precise, reliable delivery of material to the feed screw. It also eliminates material build-up, controls material aeration and delivers a steady constant flow of material.
The Sanitary PF-LC-S utilizes Thayer's patented cable suspension scale which is the most rugged and forgiving load cell weighing system available on the market. It can withstand more physical abuse and tolerate more foundation distortion/deflection than all other known designs.
The exclusive Thayer Scale "FMSS" Cable Suspension design provides extremely high sensitivity. Feeder "dead load" is mass-counterbalanced so that only material weight (live load) is measured. This feature helps ensure excellent control in even noisy, high vibration environments.
Weight loss is measured by a highly accurate, very sensitive, high output electronic force measurement sensor. The LC-137 Weight Resolver is a force measuring device designed specifically for use with Thayer Scale weighing systems.
The precision-built, heavy duty LC-137 Weight Resolver is designed for long term stability and accuracy under the most demanding of applications and so rugged that it's guaranteed for 15 years. It is initially calibrated and installed by the factory and normally requires no routine maintenance.
