Fuses protect vital electrical components.

May 17, 2007 - Ranging from 3-40 A, ATO® Fuses protect electrical devices from excess current flow. Internal element is activated by excessive heat, greater than what fuse is rated for, thus melting element and eliminating flow of electricity. End electrical component is then protected from over current state. Once fuse is blown, it must be replaced.

Protect Your Vital Electrical Components with Del City's ATO® Fuses

Milwaukee, WI (May 2007) - Circuit protection devices can be used to protect all of your vital electrical components from being damaged by excess current flow. When an excessive current flow exists, the thermal circuit protection device will automatically open, eliminating the flow of electricity.

A fuse is the most common form of a thermal circuit protection device. The size of the internal element determines the ampere rating of the fuse. The element is activated by excessive heat, greater than what the fuse is rated for, caused by the over current state, thus melting the element and eliminating the flow of electricity. The end electrical component is then protected from the over current state. The fuse is a one time one use item. Once the fuse is blown, it must be replaced.

Del City offers a full line of fuses: ATO®, ranging from 3 amp to 40 amp, and AGC® ranging from 3 amp to 40 amp. Mini® and Maxi(TM) fuses are also available, ranging from 2 to 30 amp and from 20 to 60 amp respectively.

For more information on Del City's ATO® Fuses, or for a FREE copy of Del City's full-line catalog call 1-800-654-4757 or go to www.delcity.net.
