Available in sheets and rods, Pomalloy® ESd is static-dissipative acetal copolymer material offering wear resistance and machinability. Non-carbon-filled material is non-migratory and non-humidity dependent. With low outgassing values and non-sloughing characteristics, Pomalloy ESd is suited for applications where particulate generation cannot be tolerated, such as disk drive assembly fixtures, semiconductor and electronic components, and automotive equipment.

ESd Acetal Introduced by Professional Plastics
Professional Plastics, Inc. has introduced a proprietary ESd Acetal under the brand name of Pomalloy® ESd.
Pomalloy® ESd is a static-dissipative acetal copolymer material available in basic shapes such as Sheets and Rods. This non-carbon-filled, permanently static dissipative material is non-migratory and non-humidity dependent. With enhanced lubricity, Pomalloy ESd provides superior wear resistance and ease of machining. With extremely low outgassing values and non-sloughing characteristics, Pomalloy ESd is ideal for applications where particulate generation cannot be tolerated. Pomalloy® ESd acetal provides enhanced lubricity, chemical resistance, and is dimensionally stable.
Pomalloy® ESd is used in applications such as disk drive assembly fixtures, semiconductor and electronics components, telecommunication hardware and automotive equipment where mechanical and ESd performance are required.
