TBHS Escaping Arc Clamp features temperature-resistant design to accommodate applications where die swelling is an issue. Clamp design prevents die drops when pressure has failed with its mechanical safety detent, accommodates dies of 2-63 tons, and optional sensors detect clamped and unclamped positions. Applications include automated systems where sensing position is required. Escaping Arc Clamp systems are customizable.

Serapid Announces Extended Line of New Quick Die Change Clamps
Serapid, a leader in Quick Die Change equipment and components, announces an extended line of their TBHS Escaping Arc Clamp.
This new clamp now comes in a range of sizes, accommodating dies of two tons to 63 tons. Optional sensors are available to detect the clamped and unclamped positions.
The TBHS clamp was specifically designed for high-temperature applications where die swelling is an issue. The clamp moves in an arced path (hence the name), so there is no risk of it sticking.
It also features a mechanical safety detent so dies will not drop in the event of a pressure failure. This clamp is well suited for automated systems, where sensing position is required.
With Serapid's complete range of clamping devices, guides and rolling elements, we are able to custom-design and configure a Quick Die Change System to fit your exact needs!
