May 18, 2007 - By delivering measured pulse of oxygen at beginning of each breath, O2n Demand IV minimizes wasted oxygen and allows for conserving ratios up to 6:1 while optimizing patient oxygenation and oxygen cylinder life. Multiple flow settings - 5 conserving and 3 continuous - make unit suited for range of patients. O2n Demand III dual lumen conserver is also available, suited for patients that require demand-style conserver.

Victor Medical Launches New Single Lumen Oxygen Conserver


St. Louis (April 9, 2007) - Victor Medical Products is proud to introduce our newest product addition for the Oxygen Conserver Market. The new O2n Demand IV single lumen oxygen conserver enhances our offering to the respiratory oxygen market. The O2n Demand IV delivers a measured pulse of oxygen at the beginning of each breath. Delivering oxygen at the beginning of inspiration minimizes wasted oxygen and allows high conserving ratios (up to 6:1) while still providing optimum oxygenation of the patient and increased oxygen cylinder life.

The O2n Demand IV features multiple flow settings (five conserving and three continuous), making it suitable for a broad range of patients. In addition the O2n Demand is exceptionally quiet in operation.

In addition to the O2n Demand IV, Victor Medical will continue to offer the O2n Demand III dual lumen conserver for those patients that require a demand-style conserver.
