Safety Switch STA - The Familiar, Proven Safety Switches STP and TP From EUCHNER are Now Available in a Completely Metal Design

The success story of the switch series TP and STP continues. With the STA the advantages of the proven plastic switch family are combined with those of the metal switch: the STA is compatible with the familiar, proven safety switches TP and STP in the plastic housing. Furthermore, the same actuator series is used with the STA as for the STP and STM.

The user can now choose between the plastic design and the robust metal design depending on the requirement. Due to the use of the same actuator and the same fixing dimensions, the STA is one-to-one interchangeable with the STP. Modifications are not necessary.

Due to its die-cast aluminum housing and the high degree of protection, IP 67, the switch can withstand even the most extreme ambient conditions. Like its relatives, the safety switches TP and STP in the plastic housing, the STA also has guard locking with guard lock monitoring and offers a wide range of switching elements and connection options. In addition, the switch also impresses with its slender design that makes it particularly suitable for assembly on profiles in tight spaces.
