Differential Pressure Transducer features dual sensor design.

Model 231 Multi-Sense® wet-to-wet, differential pressure transducer has selectable analog outputs that include true 2-wire 4-20 mA ouput, 3-wire 0-5 Vdc, 0-10 Vdc, and 1-5 Vdc output, and unidirectional and bidirectional ranging of span. It is temperature compensated to 32-130°F with zero and span accurate to within 0.02%/°F. Versions include MS1 with ranges from ±5-50 psid, MS2 from ±10-100 psid, and MS3 from ±25-250 psid.

Setra Systems Introduces the Model 231 Multi-Sense Wet-to-Wet, Differential Pressure Transducer
Setra Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer and designer of pressure measurement instrumentation, introduces the Model 231 Multi-Sense® wet-to-wet, differential pressure transducer. The Model 231 is ideal for users who need to monitor control pump differential pressures, chiller or boiler differential pressure drops, and flow measurement of gasses or liquids.
The all-inclusive design of the Model 231 reduces inventory and installation costs by providing the user with field selectable features such as switch-selectable pressure ranges, selectable analog outputs that include true two-wire 4 to 20 mA output, 3-wire 0 to 5 VDC, 0 to 10 VDC, and 1 to 5 VDC output, and unidirectional and bidirectional ranging of span, all in one unit. An optional LCD display is also available for in-situ reporting of range and output status.
The Model 231 is offered in 3 versions; each with 4 unidirectional pressure ranges and 4 bidirectional pressure ranges as follows: The MS1 has ranges from as low as ±5 psid up to 50 psid, MS2 from ±10 psid up to 100 psid, and MS3 from ±25 psid up to 250 psid.
All 3 versions feature Setra's own dual pressure sensor design, which incorporates thin film sensing technology for exceptional thermal accuracy and signal linearity. Each unit has been temperature compensated to +32°F to +130°F with zero and span accurate to within 0.02% per degree F.
Access to the Model 231 switches and jumpers is via its integral hinged cover. Jumpers provide additional features such as port swapping, which allows the user to switch Hi and Lo ports if the unit is incorrectly installed or replaced, select Analog Reverse mode, or select Slow Response mode for 5 second averaging or Fast Response mode for 1 second response, and choice of bar or psi pressure ranges.
In addition the Model 231 is CE and RoHS compliant.
