Equipped with 752 x 480 pixel resolution color CMOS imager, PresencePLUS® Pro COLOR and PresencePLUS P4 COLOR OMNI accurately detect infinite number of color variations. Pro model features compact camera with separate DIN-mountable controller, while one-piece P4 model is available in both in-line and right-angle configurations. In addition to color match tool, all models include suite of gray scale tools and offer direct connectivity to EtherNet/IP and ModbusTCP industrial networks.

Banner Vision Sensors Offer Unlimited Color Spectrum Analysis in Two Convenient Packages
Minneapolis, MN-March 30, 2007-Banner Engineering Corp. introduces PresencePLUS® COLOR vision sensors for detecting an infinite number of color variations accurately-even in the most challenging color inspection applications. These color vision sensors are available in two convenient packages: the two-piece PresencePLUS Pro COLOR with separate DIN-mountable controller and the one-piece PresencePLUS P4 COLOR OMNI. PresencePLUS COLOR vision sensors are available starting at only $3,495.
"Users can easily program the sensor to detect a specific color and unlimited color variations in the camera's field of view," said Dan Holste, director for Banner vision sensors. "The sensor can combine shape and color data to identify minute variations, and it can also monitor color consistency within the taught range of acceptable color." Applications. The Pro COLOR and P4 COLOR OMNI vision sensors inspect for the specific color taught to the sensor with the Color Match tool. The new sensors are appropriate for thousands of color sensitive applications in food and general packaging, pharmaceutical, electronic and automotive industries. Examples include the following:

The Pro features a compact camera with separate DIN-mountable controller. Sealed Pro IP68-rated cameras are available for challenging industrial and washdown environments. The one-piece P4 is available in both in-line and right-angle configurations. In addition to the Color Match tool, all models include the powerful suite of gray scale tools-including Locate, Pattern Find and Count, Geometric Find and Count, Edge, Object, Blob and Average Gray Scale-for the most demanding inspections. The Pro and P4 COLOR sensors have a 752 x 480 pixel resolution color CMOS imager. All models feature the PresencePLUS universal software.
