April 26, 2007 - Designed to fit any vehicle's standard roof bars, SkyRAY Light is intended for integration in mobile IP VSAT applications for vertical markets such as disaster recovery and business continuity, governmental applications, and broadcasting. Lightweight, plug-and-play subsystem requires little technical expertise for immediate satellite communications.

ND SatCom Introduces Light-weight Mobile VSAT Antenna System


Friedrichshafen, April 4, 2007 - ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company and a leading global supplier of satellite-based broadband VSAT, broadcast, government and defence communication network solutions, announced today the introduction of a newly developed mobile VSAT antenna: SkyRAY Light. The antenna subsystem will be presented to the public at NAB 2007 in Las Vegas from April 16-19 (booth C4941).

SkyRAY Light is the most light-weight and robust mobile VSAT antenna subsystem in its class in the market and comes with an aerodynamic design. The system is very fast to deploy and fits any vehicle's standard roof bars. In terms of operation, plug & play is the antenna subsystem's basic concept: In the field, little technical expertise is needed to use the antenna subsystem for immediate and efficient satellite communications. SkyRAY Light is designed to be integrated in mobile IP VSAT applications for vertical markets such as disaster recovery & business continuity, governmental applications and broadcasting.
