Featuring direct heating and cooling for optimal response and control, Hydra incorporates microprocessor control that provides accuracy to ±1°F with adaptive self-tuning PID and 2 digital displays for setting and reading system temperatures. Pressurized system circulates plain water through mold for optimal heat transfer, allowing temperatures up to 250°F. System is offered with choice of low-watt density incoloy heaters from 9-24 kW and high-capacity pumps from ¾-7½ hp.

Brand New IMS Hydra Delivers Fast & Precise Mold Temperature Control
Chagrin Falls, Ohio...The Hydra Pressurized Mold Temperature Controller is now available from IMS Company, a leading provider of quality products for the plastics processing market.
The Hydra delivers a choice of powerful pump and heater combinations to match any need. The high-speed controller and direct heating and cooling ensure the fastest response and tightest control. The pressurized system circulates plain water through the mold for the best heat transfer. Pressurization of the water allows temperatures up to 250° F.
Customers can choose the exact Hydra they need, with low-watt density incoloy heaters from 9 to 24kw and high capacity pumps that deliver 3/4 to 7-1/2 HP. The state of the art microprocessor control provides accuracy to +/- 1° F with an adaptive self-tuning PID and two large digital displays for easy setting and reading of system temperatures.
Additionally, the Hydra features Seal-Saver control software technology to extend the seal life and minimize hose temperatures by automatically cooling process water to 90° F.
The Hydra Mold Temperature Controllers come with casters to ease movement around the shop floor.
