Safety Enhanced Laboratory Gas Burners

The Fuego SCS represents a new status among laboratory gas burners. With its innovative design, microprocessor control and extensive standard features, this laboratory gas burner is suitable for all flame related applications in the laboratory.

The Fuego's streamlined design reduces air flow disturbances in laminar flow hoods. Construction is one piece, hydroformed stainless steel with no cracks or seams making the unit ideal for use in extreme lab conditions.

The Safety Control System SCS demonstrates state-of-the-art safety technology which constantly analyzes potential hazards and, if necessary, initiates safety measures, such as an interruption of the gas supply.

In addition to the ignition and flame control function and the overheating protection, the new safety concept also features continuous burner head control (BHC). BHC unfailingly identifies burner head clogging by liquids or solid substances.

Exceptional passive safety features include following prolonged use, the residual heat display will signal that the burner head is still hot in order to protect the user from burns. The adjustable automatic cut-off system inhibits unintentional ignition when the flame has not been ignited for a longer period of time.

The Fuego SCS can be operated with the Exclusive Touch Free DoubleClick IR-Sensor or by foot pedal which is included. The Exclusive DoubleClick IR-Sensor ensures that the burner can only be ignited by activating the sensor twice. As a result, unintentional ignition or ignition due to dropping or falling objects is virtually impossible.

The Fuego Safety Enhanced Burner is available with a wide range of optional accessories including a windshield, a pathogenic spray protector and several gas cartridge systems if a gas supply is not available in the laboratory.
