Resistant to scuffing and abrasion, Barrialox 1011EG-C1 is printable and transparent and suited for food, healthcare, and industrial packaging applications. Aluminum oxide-coated polyester film exhibits thermal and dimensional stability and withstands Gelbo flex test, which crushes and twists film to test resistance to pinholing and flex-cracking. Film can be used for adhesive or extrusion laminations as well as for regular and standup pouches, pillows, packets, and overwrap.

North Kingstown, RI (March 21, 2007)-Toray Plastics (America), Inc. introduces to end users and converters advanced new Barrialox 1011EG-C1 transparent, high-oxygen and -moisture- barrier aluminum oxide-coated polyester film that offers the barrier performance, strength, versatility, and marketing appeal required for food, healthcare, and industrial packaging applications.
