Hot Runner Systems enable molding of multi-cavity parts.

March 21, 2007 - Suitable for applications where volume of melt can differ, Polivalve Valve Gate Hot Runner Systems enable injection flow in simultaneous or sequential filling to create parts with unusual or complex, hard-to-fill geometries. Users can also mold multiple parts of different shapes and sizes in one cycle. Low-shear flow and uniform melt temperature control provide optimized surface quality, free of stress marks or weld lines. Hydraulic or pneumatic activation is available.

Valve Gate Systems Open Way to Hot-Runner Molding of High-Quality Parts

New Polivalve valve gate hot runner systems from D-M-E provide easy-order solutions to high-quality molding of special shapes or multi-cavity parts where the volume of melt can differ significantly. The systems enable easy injection flow in simultaneous or sequential filling to create parts with unusual or complex hard-to-fill geometries, or to mold multiple parts of different shapes and sizes in one cycle. Low-shear flow and uniform melt temperature control provide excellent surface quality free of stress marks or weld lines.

The valve systems are available in a comprehensive range of sizes and choice of hydraulic or pneumatic activation. Standard "hot half" systems and Simplicity "Drop-In" Systems are available.

D-M-E Company is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of mold tooling, mold components, hot runner systems, and control systems for the plastics industry. A subsidiary of Milacron, Inc., D-M-E Company also manufactures and sells standard tooling for the die casting industry.
