Designed for onsite calibration of various instruments, parts, and meters, handheld JOFRA(TM) DPC-500 can measure pressure, absolute pressure, current, and voltage. It has separate reference pressure sensor that can be fixed to instrument or used off-instrument via cable. Up to 5 interchangeable reference sensors of different pressure ranges may be used with any one instrument. Unit offers 15 predefined measurement units and one that can be defined by user.
Compact, High-Accuracy Solution for On-site Calibrations
ALBANY, NEW YORK -The compact JOFRA(TM)DPC-500 is the latest handheld pressure calibrator from AMETEK Calibration Instruments. The DPC-500 offers a user friendly solution for high-precision calibration of pressure gauges, transmitters and switches as well as digital manometers and overpressure protection valves.
In a new approach to pressure calibration, the DPC-500 has a separate reference pressure sensor which can be fixed to the instrument or used "off instrument" via a cable. Up to 5 interchangeable reference sensors of different pressure ranges may be used with any one instrument. The DPC-500 offers excellent pressure, current, and voltage accuracies along with an extended pressure range of 250 mbar to 1000 bar FS. Absolute pressure measurement also is offered. Since many calibration errors are caused by conversion of pressure units, the DPC-500 features 15 predefined units (bar, mbar, hPa, psi, inHg, cmHg, MPa, kPa, Pa, mH2O, cmH2O, mmH2O, Kg/cm2, InH2O, mmHg) together with one user-definable unit.
The DPC-500 features a large illuminated display and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Its easy-to-use, menu-driven interface is available in five languages. Calibration procedures can be pre-defined and used for on-site calibration. Data can be transferred to Microsoft Excel using proprietary DPC-CAL software via the unit's USB and RS232 interfaces. The complete ready-to-use system comes in a practical, aluminum carrying case with space for the DPC-500, up to five reference sensors, set of cables, battery charger, pump and fittings.
