Wireless Thermal Printer offers high security features.


March 6, 2007 - Featuring 128-bit encryption and non-discoverability function, CMP-10 Bluetooth Mobile Printer enables users to conduct secure credit card transactions. Weighing less than 12 oz, unit utilizes Li-Ion battery, which supplies up to 16 hr of active run time on single charge. Triple interface provides connectivity with Serial, Irda, and Bluetooth options. Equipped with magnetic stripe reader and metal belt clip, printer is suited for retail, food and beverage, and delivery businesses.

Citizen Introduces CMP-10 High Security Mobile Printer


TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 21 /-- Citizen Systems America Corporation (CSA), a supplier of world-class printing solutions, today announced the newest model in its series of thermal printers, the CMP-10 High Security, Bluetooth Mobile Printer (CMP-10). The small, lightweight receipt printer is the first wireless thermal printer to combine high security features with visually rich functionality to accommodate mobile commerce anytime and anywhere.

Featuring a 128-bit encryption and a non-discoverability function, the CMP-10 provides increased security and convenience to conduct the most secure credit card transactions on the go. Weighing less than 12 ounces, the CMP-10 utilizes a long-life Lithium-Ion battery supplying up to 16 hours of active run time on a single charge. A triple interface is also featured to provide complete connectivity with Serial, Irda and Bluetooth options. Other design elements include an integrated magnetic stripe reader (MSR) and a built-in metal belt clip, perfect for on-the-spot credit card transactions.

Along with enhanced security and compact size, comes even higher reliability and value. In addition, the CMP-10 ships with Windows(TM) 2000, XP, Mobile, C.E.Net and Pocket PC drivers. Measuring only 116 x 90 x 51mm and weighing 329 grams, the CMP-10 can be taken anywhere at a moment's notice, making it a convenient solution for a variety of businesses including retail, food and beverage or deliveries.
