Fair Lawn, New Jersey, February 20, 2007 - Sandvik Coromant's new range of damped silent tools brings substantial performance benefits to the company's line of CoroMill® milling cutters.
The integrated dampening of Sandvik Coromant's CoroMill 390 offers more efficient, vibration-free machining that will improve the performance of cutting tools working in deep cavities and pockets. This reduction in vibration allows for an increase in cutting parameters without compromising work piece quality.
Additionally, the CoroMill 390 can be used with Coromant Capto®, which results in even further stabilization of the machining process. Coromant Capto boosts the capabilities of long-reaching tools and achieves high stability and rigidity.
Sandvik Coromant cutters are also available with integrated seat and hardened steel cutter bodies with a diameter range of 20 - 40mm.
