March 1, 2007 - Containing no latex, Island Wound Dressing with Microban establishes barrier that protects against bacteria such as MRSA without cytotoxicity, skin discoloration, or leaching of pharmaceuticals into wound. It creates and maintains moist environment while preventing strike-through, protecting healthcare personnel, other patients, and environment. Hypoallergenic adhesive keeps dressing securely in place, and DelnetŪ scrim will not stick to wounds.

MedWrap's Island Wound Dressing with Microban protection provides potent protection against bacteria such as MRSA without the cytotoxicity, skin discoloration or leaching of pharmaceuticals into the wound seen in other, more costly wound covers. This dressing's design makes it easy to apply clinicians, patients or family members. The dressing contains no latex.

MedWrap Features:
o Creates and maintains a moist environment for optical wound healing.
o Establishes a barrier that prevents transmission of moisture and microbes.
o Prevents strike-through, protecting healthcare personnel, other patients and the environment.
o Contains a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent.

o DelnetŪ scrim won't stick to wounds.

The Island Wound Dressing with Microban protection is available in the following sizes of 10 individually wrapped dressings per inner box and 10 inner boxes per case. Additional sizes and shapes are available upon request.
