VpCI(TM)-705 Bio is a multifunctional product serving as a fuel stabilizer and water emulsifier that provides contact and void space corrosion protection for fuel tanks. VpCI(TM)-705 Bio provides excellent corrosion protection and lubricity for all common metals used in automotive fuel systems like aluminum, aluminum die cast, zinc cast alloys, tinplate, terneplate, copper, ferrous alloys, cast iron, steel, brass, and solder. As a fuel stabilizer, this vegetablebased additive is applicable not only for biofuels and biodiesel, but for regular diesel and gasoline as well. VpCI(TM)-705 Bio works effectively at a very low dosage, 0.1% - 0.2% per volume or 0.2 oz per gallon.
VpCI(TM)-705 Bio incorporates Cortec's proprietary Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibiting (VpCI(TM)) Technology that provides outstanding corrosion protection in the fuel phase, vapor phase (void space above the fuel), and the liquid level of the fuel tank. VpCI(TM)-705 Bio is an environmentally safe product. It is soybean-based and does not contain trace metals, chlorides, chromates, nitrites, or phosphates. VpCI(TM)-705 does not form harmful combustible products as well. It is available in 5-gallon (19 liters) pails, 55-gallon (208 liters) drums, liquid totes, and bulk.
