February 23, 2007 - Designed for use with Swiss-type automatic lathes, 25 mm HSC High Speed Cutting Motor Spindles fit in linear toolholders and are suited for machining operations involving micro milling and drilling tools as well as engraving and fine milling. Rigid precision bearings near spindle nose optimize true running. For turning center users, kit is available that includes supply unit, electrical and pneumatic lines, and HSC spindle to permit radial drilling, milling, and tapping.

New IBAG 25 mm Spindles for 'Swiss-Type' Automatic Lathes

IBAG North America announces the new 25mm HSC (High Speed Cutting) motor spindles designed for use with "Swiss-type" automatic lathes fit in the linear toolholders and operate at speeds up to 60,000 rpm (optional to: 80,000 rpm) for machining applications involving micro milling and drilling tools as well as engraving and fine milling. These new spindles feature rigid precision bearings near the spindle nose to dramatically enhance true running, assuring better surface quality and greater machining accuracy. In addition for turning center users, IBAG offers a ready-to-install kit that includes the supply unit, all electrical and pneumatic lines and the the new 25mm HSC spindle to permit precision radial drilling, milling and tapping, expanding overall turning center capability.
